Description

In our world of imagination, even a cobra is cuddly.

Imagination can take you Anywhere!

There is so much versatility with this pattern! Opt for a fun whimsical snake or lean on the realistic side. A variety of fabrics work well for this project, my favorite for optimum softness is minky.

This sewing project is suitable for an adventurous confident beginner since there isn’t any complicated sewing for the easiest options (other than opposing curves and small curves) and I walk you through each step with detailed instructions and photos to illustrate each step.  Your creativity is encouraged with variations to help you customize your stuffed animal. Add a little hat, bandana or even a spike collar.  While you’re add it give him a mohawk, fangs and a tuft of hair.

I love this pattern but even better than that…my sensory Kiddo LOVES this Sassy Serpent!! The directions are clear and easy to follow, and the results are stunning.

  2. Laurie Widen

I am very impressed with all the detail and thought in the pattern development. It takes a lot of time to create a pattern with all the written details as well as photos. This pattern is so amazing, because of the various snake options it is like you get multiple patterns for the price of one. The directions are very clear and when paired with the photos do not leave me guessing about what to do next.

  3. Karla Wert

Rustic Horseshoe patterns are wonderfully fun. The Sassy Serpent certainly meets All expectations for being fun and versatile. All of the patterns come with so many options that it is like getting multiple patterns for the price, Rena is quick to respond to questions (not that you will have many questions about the pattern, they are so detailed and easy to follow).
The worst part about the pattern is deciding which one to do first, you will want to try all of the variations. If you have not tried a Rustic Horseshoe pattern yet, the Sassy Serpent is a great one to try. It was a quick project for those of you instant gratification kind of people. Beware, you will fall in love with this pattern and will have a whole pit of snakes before you know it.

  4. Diane Kemple

I love that this pattern gives you the flexibility to be as creative as you would like. With plenty of options and different skill sets to choose from, the finished serpent feels like your own personal design.

I had so much fun sewing the snake. I had even more fun letting my grandkids choose the fabric, eyelashes and other accessories they can think of…making each snake have its own personality. The possibilities are endless with this pattern and I believed a beginner could sew this. The pattern has each step explained, pictures/videos to help you along. Rena is also very responsive to questions along the way. You will find yourself making more than one!

I have been waiting for this pattern to drop for months! I was so excited to be selected to test out this pattern. I have made many of the rustic horseshoe patterns and this one is just as amazing as the rest! There are so many options for whatever sewing level you are at! The pattern is very well written and the outcome of the Sassy Serpent was better than expected.
