"All of Rena's patterns are adorable stitched up! Her directions are clear and even adventurous beginning sewists can make something awesome from her designs. Highly recommend her patterns, you can't buy just one!!"
Andrea Hey Diddle Dolls

Asia
"Made a memory horse out of shirts for a family member. The directions were easy to follow. I really liked all of the 'your horse should look like this at this point' photos. 'Confident Beginner' is a perfect description of the skill level you need. This pattern made me look good!"
Kathy
"It is really easy. I had to translate. With pictures it is an easy job."
AdreaannaGermany

"Wow! So much thought was put into the drafting of this pattern. The pieces fit together wonderfully and the directions are so detailed and clear. This was my first time sewing a soft toy and it came out so professional looking. Everyone who sees my llama can't believe I made it! Thanks!

"I just completed the sewing of six camels. While I dreaded this project, I have to say that it went without a hitch! They are adorable and will shortly be completed and will be used in our church children's Christmas Pageant. Thank you so much for such great directions and explanations. It was a pleasure to use your pattern!"
Wendy W.
"With pretty much no sewing experience I was able to create something that looked almost identical to pictures on Rustic Horseshoe. Highly recommend."
Tony
"A great pattern to make a lovely hobby horse. I used this pattern to create a unicorn hobby horse for my neighbours little girl for Christmas. The pattern and instructions were really easy to follow and it turned out better than I could have imagined. I look forward to trying some of your other patterns. Many Thanks"
Rebecca
"I fell in love with the Floppy Filly and then saw the blonde version along with the children's book "Dream Pony" on the Etsy site, and my Christmas list was getting smaller. Once I had made the first one and found how clear and easy the instructions were, well, I made three more. And I have since purchased the giraffe and the seahorse patterns and can't wait to get those made."
Barbara S.
“I stumbled across the canvas colt when I was searching for a horse gift, that I could make myself, for my horse loving daughter. This pattern was so straightforward and so customizable of course I had to make it in both the original size and one from the pattern printed at 200% as well. They are all so adorable and such a unique gift and I see many more in my future."
Chantelle L. C.
"The patterns are perfect and beautiful, exact and very easy to make. Very good explanations and simple to sew. I love your patterns !!"

"I’ll start with saying what a great pattern you’ve created. I’m not the most experienced soft toy sewer but I found your pattern easy to follow and well written. Each step was explained clearly and the photos really helped me figure out what was going on."

Why Do You Sew?
I sew to keep my sanity! As a stay at home mom with toddlers...sewing is my 'safe space' and where I get my break. Of course their faces when they get something new and awesome that mommy made helps too 😉
I also learned with quilting from my mom and grandma at a very young age. So it's still an awesome bonding to be able to show them stuff and go "I MADE THIS!"
Victoria
I sew because my grandmother taught me how. She taught me to feel pride in taking a piece of fabric and turning it into something new. When I sew, I feel close to her. She passed away from lung cancer in 2012.
Jessica
When I Sew I can see the end result. I love seeing my personal touches around my house and those of my family
Terri
I sew to relax and enjoy making something constructive and cuddly!
Sarah
I sew because I have to create. Sewing is an art form. I love seeing a project come together!

I love to sew! It is my ME time. Since I retired I've been doing more sewing and I make Minky stuffed animals and blankets that I sell on Facebook. My unicorn and horses always sell good.

I sew to learn new things. I love the challenge of a new pattern. I love creating with my own hands.
Michele
I love to sew. My grandmother taught me as a small child. Now it is my relaxation time and it makes me feel like my grandmother is there with me.
Karen
For me sewing is my creative outlet. I like to push the boundaries with design, using bright colours and prints. Sewing is a skill that you continue learning from, there's no limit to the imagination!.

I sew for the love of creative work making some thing lovely and making it come alive.
Anne
I sew because there is something magical about taking a flat piece of fabric and creating something multi-dimentional that is beautiful, useful, and unique. Plus, sewing is good for my soul.
